People have forgotten their spiritual connection. Arrogance that the human race has figured everything out through science. We are ants looking at skyscrapers when we look at the world around us. We don’t know shite but think we do. Excessive individualism and worship of materialism. In a nutshell.

You are giving it WAY too much time.

Within 50.

I think there's a lot more to this than meets the eye.

There are people that would have you eat lab grown meat or drink supplements rather than get nutrition from natural sources. The body may meet some physical need, but the mind is not satisfied with mere sustenance. That's not even taking into account the variety of interconnected things like, chewing your food, seeing something appealing to eat, etc. There are so many unintended consequences of living a jaded life...

I think humans are being deprived of what it means to be alive in the pursuit of longer/safer lives.

Agreed. I also think you’re seeing a younger generation that just isn’t buying into a capitalistic society anymore. They don’t believe how hard you work directly translates to the quality of life they want or believe they deserve. More often than not, they have a point.

Combine that with all the information in the world at their fingertips (cell phones) and seeing what they believe can be an alternative at an impressionable age…well there you go.

What are you defining Western Culture?

I would guess “Western Culture” is defined by everyone differently, but I think about individual and personal freedoms. Some freedoms are being taken away (abortion rights, firearm rights), some are being expanded (removal of marijuana laws) but overall, I feel like we’re still fairly free to make choices at the individual level.

I forgot to answer the "Why".

Why? Because of Leftism. Leftists want to destroy Western Culture by root and by branch. They will replace it with something begotten from their own image.

What image is that? Radical Leftist Totalitarian Police Staat. Think "East Germany" on steroids.

When will this happen? The revolution has now begun. It's in its nascent stages right now.

When will be defeated? in saecula saeculorum that is, unto the ages of ages - not until The End of Time.

This is another way of saying our education system is in shambles. We aren’t capitalist. That’s an economic theory

The younger generation is feeling the affects of more indebtedness and a slowing birth rate which is limiting those opportunities.

Yesterday I watched a Peter Boghossian interview. It was just random people in a Romanian city. He was asking their views on America.
One college girl said 'They all have guns and they are racist.'
Peter: 'How are they racist?'
Girl: '20% of black people are killed every week.'
Peter: 'Are you sure?'
Girl: 'Well, maybe it's every month.'

She was not being sarcastic. There is no other place she could get this other than media or woke professors.

No, it’s just Liberalism, it’s a destructive ideology. It the elevates the individual above society, and it destroys all social structure, and tradition - the things bind us together and promote our health as a people and a culture.

The end result is social chaos and instability. It’s a destructive ideology.

The Republican Party and the Democratic Party are both liberal parties, and there is no cultural alternative to Liberalism in the West.

How often do they have a point? Hard work in and of itself has never translated to financial success, and it’s certainly never translated to a standard of living someone thinks they deserve. Ditch diggers work hard but they make less money than a lot of people who do nothing but talk for a living, like sales.

If not an actual decline, then can anyone come up with what actual positives the following have made to it over the last 100-plus years:

The experiments by Wilhelm Wundt in his psych labs in Leipzig.

The Tavistock Institute of Human Relations in Britain (originally Wellington House)

The Institute of Social Research in Frankfurt.

Willi Munzenberg, Antonio Gramsci, Max Horkheimer, Walter Benjamin, Theodor Adorno, Georgy Lukacs, Herbert Marcuse, Aldous Huxley, and his friend Timothy Leary, Susan Sontag, John Dewey, Freud, Kinsey, Maslow, Skinner, Cloward-Piven, and others too numerous to mention - or not worth mentioning.

With all of their "ideals" having come together and weaponized at the 10 Macy Conferences presided over and assisted by Norbert Wiener and his great new idea "cybernetics."

And the legions their efforts over three generations have been able to produce and condition in their own image, after they were allowed to flood and eventually take over our institutions.

Can't leave Madison Avenue off the list as a major purveyor of their slick, manipulative propaganda.

How else did we arrive in this present condition at this point in time.

Was the "summer of love" in Portland an acceptable example of what their intentions have always been to produce in enough numbers in this country and the West.

But then, any culture that could successfully weather such a manifold, long-term, all-out psychological assault like that and hold on to its traditions and ideals would be undeniably the greatest one ever.
