I wouldn't say Putin likes Trump but more along the lines he respects Trump. He knows Trump is one of those guys that if you don't provoke him, he won't bother you unlike the Soros funded Clinton's who are adamant of reshaping the world in their view.

because Trump wants to work with Russia in Syria. Russia likes this because once the situation is stabilized and Assad regains power, they will block the Qatar NG pipeline and Russia will continue to feed Europe their supply.

Here's the REAL reason Putin is glad Trump won.
He gets to keep his monopoly on selling natural gas to the EU.
With the Hillary loss, the Arab money barons that bought and paid for a war to remove Assad in Syria to allow a pipeline to take away said monopoly. That pipeline is now not going to happen due to Assad more than likely remaining in power.
When you boil off all of the fat, that's the meat of the matter. No matter what the blithering idiots on TV are saying, it was always about the pipeline.

Agreed. The other component is that Soros has been trying to start fires in Russia's backyard with the South Ossetia crisis and the Ukraine situation. Soros hates Trump, and Putin sees Trump as less of an existential threat than the Soros puppets.

If I'm not mistaken, Soros is on the terror watch list in Russia.

Bamarep, Maybe Trump is right for supporting Russia in blocking the pipeline. One thing the US has aplenty is natural gas. Once all these LNG come online the EU could potentially become a great place to sell.
