Why does it sound like there was two shooters?
Watched the bodycam footage and that's what it sounds like to me

Tall buildings can create a canyon type effect with echoes bouncing back and forth. I'm not saying that's what happened but its possible.

Well, there are echos with those buildings so maybe that is what you heard.

The cops released all of their body cam footage, it’s pretty intense

I saw a couple of different witness interviews where they said they could not tell exactly where the shots were coming from due to the acoustics of the buildings.

I know absolutely nothing about either guns or acoustics so I'm going to say with absolute certainty that it is because there were multiple shooters.

He used different weapons, that could be part of it.

Echoes. It's why the initial report is that there always are multiple shooters

he had 2 machine guns on tripods and was shooting both at the same time

this isn't rocket science; he was out for maximum carnage so its not a stretch to think he was firing 2 at the same time.

Been a while since I've been out there, but isn't Mandalay Bay sort of isolated as far as tall buildings go, with not really anything comparable around it?
