Considering they were engaged in a certain degree of terrorism, destruction of property, and murder, they probably didn't want to be identified for prosecution.

Not really, anytime there is a conversation about race, somebody always brings up my username. I've explained it a million times, I didn't know it was some racist singers name, I chose it because of Johnny Football and I'm a Rebels fan (I combined the two). Wasn't the first time someone brought it up, but no worries.. won't be the last time either.

Negative. This is a falsehood perpetuated by the New Democrat party. The old democrat party wore the masks to conceal their identity as they committed atrocities. It didn't have anything to do with the confederacy and when you get to college, you'll learn about the war of northern aggression.
