Neither the left nor the right want illegal immigration to continue. Everything being debated has more to do with how to stop future illegal immigration and what to do with current illegal aliens in the US.

There is a certain group of progressives that fall in to the idea of "citizens of the world." To them, nation states and borders are antiquated and should be gotten rid of. They fully believe that any person on this planet should be able to move and live anywhere they wish, without restriction or repercussions.
So, to enforce immigration laws of any kind is inherently racist.

But you, like so many, are being pulled toward a false battle line by the magnetism of media -- media that is owned and controlled by the corporate/government.
The false-battle-line concept is going to be hard for people who are fooled by it to understand.
They create a false narrative and it operates as a magnet that pulls people from opposing sides right up close to the line as a way to accentuate division for easier control.

I'm not a liberal or a Democrat. I was just chiming in. Not for me to say that you're this or that because I don't know you, but starting a thread asking why you're racist makes you sound racist and insecure about it. It's just how it comes across.
I'd be insane to deny that much of the left jumps to hasty conclusions about people because they can't go toe-to-toe with anyone in any debate about anything whatsoever and that calling half the country racist makes their pussies feel good.

A lot of people are stuck in the downstream fight that they want us to have -- the liberal vs conservative battle based on the deep branding for both ideologies.
They want that division and petty level argument so there isn't a collective awareness and subsequent collective attack on the upstream agenda -- which is to destroy strong cultural pockets around the world to ease the implementation of a global authority.
