Trick question

When Trump "lies" those lies immediately become the objective truth

Are we talking about reality or alt-reality?

One's a real estate salesman and the other is lifetime cop. Care to rephrase the reality part as neither lives in reality?

Salesman: I know I can get them to buy this, and collect a huge commission.

Cop: I know they're guilty of something I just have to look more, or set it up.

Do we have documented examples of Mueller lying? We've got boat loads of examples of Trump lying.

This thread, and the thousands like it, make me wish the government would shut down the internet until this investigation is over.

This is worse than the Rant during the offseason. And for those who don't venture over there out of season, they argue and bitch about things like PVC pipes and Jersey number fonts

According to one of Trump's former personal bodyguards, Trump.

Didn't Mueller have a stellar reputation before the investigation began?

What is your example for Mueller not being honest? Do you have any? I know you can name dozens of examples for Trump (whether you admit it or not).

Donald J. Trump is simply the biggest liar ever to hold Federal office in the history of these United States. The man cannot remember what lie he told when and to whom.

Not sure why this post got down votes. As a generalization, it is generally correct.

Generalization as answers to specific questions don't work

Generally not, but it does given the original question in this case.

Unless you primarily consume Fox News and Donald Trump tweets.

In that world you would never know he was the Bush appointed FBI director that was unanimously re-confirmed under Obama for a special 2 year extension.

That was willing to put his principles above his party appointed loyalty when he threatened to resign(along with Comey) in a showdown with the Bush Administration attempting to blanket authorize their warrant-less wiretapping program.

quote:

The infamous showdown took place in March 2004, while Ashcroft was recovering from illness in a hospital bed. Acting attorney general James Comey—now President Obama’s nominee to head the FBI—was refusing to reauthorize one component of the secret surveillance program. Comey concluded that it was illegal. This prompted White House counsel Alberto Gonzales to rush to Ashcroft’s hospital room in hopes of getting the ailing AG to countermand Comey, who was tipped off about Gonzales’ plan and sped there as well.

In the confrontation that ensued, Ashcroft supported Comey both formally (because Comey was legally the attorney general while Ashcroft was incapacitated) and on the legal substance. Bush reauthorized the program despite the Justice Department’s conclusion that it was unlawful. Comey then threatened to resign—with Ashcroft, FBI director Robert Mueller, and other top officials reportedly ready to join him. Bush ultimately backed down, and the troublesome program was briefly suspended.

quote:

His confrontation with White House officials that March night in the cramped confines of Attorney General John Ashcroft’s room at George Washington University Hospital has since made him widely lionized as a guardian of the Constitution for resisting pressure to rubber-stamp a National Security Agency surveillance program that he and others at the Justice Department believed violated the law.
