Who says good ol' conservative southern baws aren't inclusive?

2 weeks ago, I found myself at the Nashville gun club shooting a round of sporting clays with a black friend, an Asian (Chinese) friend and a Jewish (half) friend. It was like a non-PC beer commercial where we all were free to pick at each others' racial stereotypes.
Afterwards, we had lunch at an authentic vietnamese restaurant...at the request of the Jew. We didn't let the Asian drive.
Really fun day.
How many libs have similar stories?

My husband is part Jew but mostly Italian. I've never seen a person fit both stereotypes as well as he does.

I spent a lifetime in the military...
Just about everyday mirrored that, but less general affront to stereotypical behavior (it still goes on, but it's subtle)
