I can tell you that the "Robert Johnson" claim is bullshite, at least where our entire operation was concerned with the CMA (out of Memphis) and our employment of Terry Reed.

Eagle Aviation was the contractor Reed worked for, out of Columbia, SC and also the main contractor behind Air America who worked Southeast Asia during the Vietnam years.

Not going to get into the details of why I know that but I know for a fact that there was no Robert Johnson working for us that I ever heard of. Gene Hasenfus yes, and every other pilot, co-pilot and loadmaster back then from Ilopango to Managua and even down to Cañas, which we used at times .... but their was no Robert Johnson back then, not even working for SAT out of Miami.

Barr did help a lot of guys get home and not face a bunch of issues, and worked with Strom Thurmond to get one in particular home, to SC, in particular.

Barr is not the boogie man. These lefty conspiracy theorists are reaching when they try to tie his father into any of this. I mean I could go on and on but what's the point. And if anyone wants to really delve into Terry Reed's political ties and corruption they need look no further than the Clintons.
