He still won't be able to even name a single deduction he would eliminate to pay for tax rate cuts.

I got the details on the GOOD stuff - the bad stuff, well you just don't worry bout that!

Trillions in over budget spending but we MUST pay for tax cuts!

See how stupid that sounds?

No I guess.

At this point repubs better just run someone that can win. This country needs more change. Don't think he can win.

This has what has been said since 1988. Every single Republican nominee has been chosen on the basis of electability since that year.

Would love to see Mitt as Secretary of State

That's a job I couldn't see him willing to take, because the position now requires practically non-stop travel status. I don't think that would appeal at all to him as one who is really into spending time with his large family. Condi and Hillary and now Kerry are all individuals who thrived on globe-hopping.

I do get the sense that Romney would like one more shot at some kind of public service though, and might feel comfortable in a low-profile role like Secretary of Commerce.

Do you think they have run candidates in the past that they thought could not win?

Clinton never got 50%. The all out assault for 8 years against Bush by the media paid off for Obama. I think the winds are against the Dems this go around, but never count them out.

About every criticism I have heard about Romney is about the dumbest shite I have ever heard. It is just amazing how the left criticizes him and people just fall in line.

IMO the country really doesn't deserve a guy like Romney. He appears basically too good.

A Romney - Carson ticket would win. He might also be someone who could restore this Country's status in the world.

How old are you?

Is it possible for someone to actually be more qualified than Bush Sr?

When you get your chance and come up short, especially vs. a weak azz POS, you are toast.

That is just the facts.

Of course its stupid. When you're running a deficit the obvious solution is to run a higher deficit by cutting taxes. Everyone knows that. Especially pea brained Brawndo drinking morons like you.

So every time you raise taxes, government revenue increases?

JFK cut taxes and doubled revenue, Reagan cut taxes and tripled revenue. Of course capitalistic principles wouldn't necessarily register with a commie pinko anti-America dumbazz0.

From the JFK Library
quote:

The president finally decided that only a bold domestic program, including tax cuts, would restore his political momentum. Declaring that the absence of recession is not tantamount to economic growth, the president proposed in 1963 to cut income taxes from a range of 20-91% to 14-65% He also proposed a cut in the corporate tax rate from 52% to 47%. Ironically, economic growth expanded in 1963, and Republicans and conservative Democrats in Congress insisted that reducing taxes without corresponding spending cuts was unacceptable. Kennedy disagreed, arguing that “a rising tide lifts all boats” and that strong economic growth would not continue without lower taxes.

I agree and at the least he couldn't be as bad as the piece of trash we have in office now.

the impact of female voters as a group in 2016,

Yep, NH, we may be of different political leanings, but anyone that underestimates the power of the female vote in 2016, does so at peril. What's the Kate Perry song? Oh yeah, "Roar". I think a whole lot of women are getting ready to do just that.
