I didn't remember the numbers of each one, so I skimmed the titles.
Understandable. Similar boat here. Once you read that you can remember which one it was though.

Having to read the name of the amendment in the booth and decide based on that would suck.
It would. It would let me know that I'm uninformed. This guy is one of the biggest facebook political posters I am friends with as well. It is anecdotal, but still. Know your shite before you go in.

White people actually do their homework before showing up at the voters booth.

White privilege is not having to wait in voting lines
Gotta love Mother Jones. They seem to have left off some key information so one can evaluate their results. They gave us wait times but that alone is not enough to evaluate.
A better set of facts would be to know the typical number of voters at a given precinct as compared to another.
Why you may ask?
Well, how long a voter waits in line is a function of BOTH how many people are in front of them and how long those people take to vote.
Before I can pass judgment on their wait times, I need to know if there was a disparity in the number of people attempting to vote. If not, then you know the issue was how long individual voters take to execute their vote.
And, I mean, it's likely a fair point to note that if you read poorly, you probably take longer to vote.

What explains the difference in wait times?
Posted on 11/4/14 at 7:54 pm to Dire Wolf
Well some of those voters are voting multiple times so that makes the line back up just a bit.

Walked in, grabbed a latte and parfait, then voted. Took all of 4 minutes. I could have stuck around for the complimentary massage but I didn't want to wait in line

black Americans waited an average of 23 minutes to vote,
Have you ever been behind a black woman at a gas station counter? 15 mins and 6 lottery scratch offs latter this stat is not surprising.

Even voters who obtain the required identification (which is easier said than done, especially if money is tight or you've just learned of your state's new requirements)
People have been getting DL's and state ID's for decades now. It not hard, many places it free, and the DMV is normally in the minority side of town. If a person is so inept, so pathetic, so worthless that they don't have the necessary aptitude to obtain an ID then you probably shouldn't be deciding anything with your vote.

And you can pretty much predict which Americans deal with that extra hassle by looking at the racial makeup of neighborhoods
It has everything to do with the part I bolded. A higher % of white people choose to live in nicer neighborhoods than black people so of course they get nicer facilities to vote in. A black person that chooses to live in a nice neighborhood gets the same nice facilities and a white person in a shite neighborhood gets the bad ones. If you don't like it, move!

I swear I was going to post about my complimentary massage
I did receive a 1-year supply of Hostess twinkies, though.

I was picked up in a limo supplied by the RNC and driven to the polls. The caviar was so-so but the champagne was very good. I was carried into the polling place by two minorities and placed into the booth. After I cast my straight R ticket, I was carried to a fabulously buffet of lobster, filet mignon and prime rib. They forgot the horseradish sauce for the prime rib, so after I pitched a fit, they send one of the darkies to the store to get some for me. All in all, it was not a very pleasant experience.
I am disappoint.
