What? They are apologizing for the actions of the department that she was in charge of. Why apologize if she didn't do anything wrong? Would they come out and say "I'm sorry, we regret to say that we have done everything right on this matter."? This is ridiculous.

The post I responded to (the OP) was asking about her immediate resignation aka firing. Maybe you should be a little more clear if you want to change the topic.

So to be "clear", you agree that the WH should have yanked this woman from her assignment as Director of the IRS’ Obamacare Office as soon as this issue arose?
