I fully believe they would choose war.

Sure they may be bad choices, but this is called a hypothetical (and not a far-fetched one).
The fact you can't admit war with Russia is an infinitely worse choice is very telling.

The neocons flocked to Clinton. They also represent a large part of the Republican establishment, but the Democratic establishment is just as thirsty for war. Look at Samantha Power and others in the Obama administration. Drone wars in Yemen, Pakistan and Somalia, still in Afghanistan, war in Libya, proposed regime change in Syria. Turn in your card if you think the Democrats aren't chock full of warmongering psychopaths.
