Wars have always been fought, they will always be fought, unfortunately there is no stopping it. The world is globally connected we cannot be isolationist anymore but we also can’t get involved in every single skirmish all over the world.
I think a lot of these people whether they support helping Ukraine or not, have never served, nor have they ever seen combat. On the other hand the people who want to stand by and do nothing are no better than Neville Chamberlain.
At what point does America stand up and become a defender for the innocent? And if you don’t believe that America should stand up for the innocent, that is your right as well.
It seems that we have some conflicting opinions on this board, some people believe if you are anti-war you are a pussy and a liberal hippie. Other people think that if you support the war or any war then you are a rino or a Warhawk.
So you’re either a pussy who is anti-war who is a soy boy. Or you are a rhino mitt Romney supporter who just wants to keep pushing the war machine and I would assume you would be some kind of conservative if that was the case and not a liberal considering most liberals are antiwar or at least it seems that way.
The question becomes how much do you want to risk to stand up for your fellow man? Sometimes I think the people that complain about abortion and all these type of things act like they care about human beings but then when the time comes to actually help their fellow man who Jesus said are all the same before God they are no different than you and I, yet they turn their back on their fellow man when they need the most because they are worried about the material things of this world . Of course I’m not religious but it seems to come across that way to me.
