Defend what? Their right to speak even though their speech is abhorrent?

No, they're shitty fascists as well, only they want to force the government to ban speech they don't like and make sure that all races get the equality of outcome.

I think you're glossing over their demonstrated violent tendencies, but that may just be your choice of language.

the Nazis as violent savages

I agree. But so are the Antifas. They aren't "better." They aren't less violent. They aren't nobler.

They are both my enemy, and I will fight both of them every step of the way.

Agree.

Literally nothing from his past indicates that he's capable of waiting for the facts.

Liberals Friday: Trump is too divisive and reactionary! He never waits for the facts! His statements are always unnecessarily strong!

Trump Saturday: let's all come together against hate and violence. I need to wait for the facts before I can comment further.

Liberals Sunday: Trump is not divisive enough! And how dare he wait for the facts! What a pathetic statement! He needs to be stronger and more reactionary!

Why try to appease these people anymore?

Free speech has consequences and the fact that 3 people died is the facts.

What he said does not help the families or the nation. He could of brought the nation together instead making it worse.

We know that many generals of all branches of the military and joint chiefs are offended and General Kelly looked disgusted is a fact. They know what it looks like when nations are divided and can see that Trump has missed the opportunity to bring America closer instead of apart.

Saying "Both sides" was a mistake and it does more to divide than bringing us together.
