Take away part time jobs, Government jobs, and jobs people are way overqualified for and what is truly left that he created?

Also take away the jobs that vanished.

I bet they count replacement jobs as new ones. I.e. engineering job lost… Molly Maid job created… total of 1 job created!

Who cares, you wouldn't believe any number anyone produced anyway.

I sure as hell don't believe the 10.9 million number being floated around.

All of those numbers pumping up Obama are fudged and faked. That goes for his approval ratings, his job creation, etc.

The wikileaks proved the complete fabrication, collusion and unreliability of all positive info WRT Obama's regime.

So these job created numbers, does that reflect also the jobs lost during that month? I never ever hear that reported.

thats because they report the net increase or decrease and...i know you might have a hard time believing this but....its been 17 months since a net decrease.

but hey that's just the labor board numbers perhaps Stout can get his info from Alex Jones.

Why do you libs always resort to race?

And also, I just want a true number of quality jobs he created. Flipping burgers shouldn't count.

Info like this would suffice.

Haven't been able to reconcile how the labor participation rate drops and somehow magically the unemployment rate gets cut in half have you?

Then it should be reported that way don't you think? Again, we still never hear the number of jobs lost. I would think that would be relevant to the conversation.

In my life, Obama caused a cut in jobs from 50 to 29. We were forced to either give unaffordable Health Insurance or pay a fine of $20,000. We cut payroll a few months ago. Let 6 go and just didn't replace people as they quit. Very hard on the remaining 30 people in our store. Obama is responsible for 20 people not having a job.

Numbers are in thousands

LINK

October 2007 (Pre-Recession)

Employment population - 237,553
Civilian Labor Force - 153,253
Employed - 146,007
Employment Population Ratio - 62.7
Unemployed - 7,245
Unemployment Rate - 4.7
Not in Labor Force - 79,462
% of Employ Pop not in Labor Force - 33%
Labor Particip. Rate = 65.9
Average workweek (hours) = 33.8
Average Hourly Earnings (not adj for inflation) = 17.58

LINK

October 2009 (Beginning of Recession)

Employment population - 219,165.88
Civilian Labor Force - 153,975
Employed - 138,275
Employment Population Ratio - 58.5
Unemployed - 15,700
Unemployment Rate - 10.2
Not in Labor Force - 82,575
% of Employ Pop not in Labor Force - 38%
Labor Particip. Rate = 65.1
Average workweek (hours) = 33
Average Hourly Earnings (not adj for inflation) = 18.72

LINK

October 2016 (Current)

Employment population - 254,321
Civilian Labor Force - 159,712
Employed - 151,925
Employment Population Ratio - 59.7
Unemployed - 7,787
Unemployment Rate - 4.9
Not in Labor Force - 94,609
% of Employ Pop not in Labor Force - 37%
Labor Particip. Rate = 62.8
Average workweek (hours) = 34.4
Average Hourly Earnings (not adj for inflation) = 25.92

So in Summary, from today to beginning of recession

Employment Pop = +38,156
Civil Labor Force = +5,737
employed = +13,650
emp pop ratio = +1
unemp = -7,913
unemp rate = -5%
not in labor force = +12,034
% of Employ Pop not in Labor Force = -1

That spells out, stagnation, which is what we've been saying.

In relation, from today to pre-recession

Employment Pop = +16,768
Civil Labor Force = +6,459
employed = +5,918
emp pop ratio = -3%
unemp = +542
unemp rate = +.2
not in labor force = +15,147
% of Employ Pop not in Labor Force = +4%

ETA: And this does not take into account going from full time to part time jobs. I'll try and find those numbers.

ETA ETA: I will update with additional numbers for each period like labor particip rate, hourly work week, earnings, etc...

This is the part we never hear. Yeah, we gained 117 thousand jobs during the month but what about the 25,000 (a guess seeing as to how the numbers are never reported) that lost their jobs. Why did they lose them? We seem to never know.

The very first month Trump is in office, they need to make sure the monthly report is a truthful one. Enough of hiding the truth through selective stats and number manipulation.

It IS reported that way. The number announced each month is the net increase or decrease. It's been 81 consecutive months of private-job net growth btw. Longest streak in US history.

In the private sector I'd give him credit for a few jobs in the solar industry. Of course it's totally dwarfed by the number of jobs lost in coal mining.
