I don’t care so much about the revenge part because I’m more concerned about him running the country, but I’d love to see those agencies cleaned up. I just saw nothing from him in 4 years that makes me think he will.

He talks a good game but folds when it comes to actually doing anything substantive.

Yes, I watched them do it for four years and he never got any better at fighting them. He didn’t learn on the job and he hasn’t changed, so why would I expect anything different? I think it sucks that we have so many shitty people in government but they exist, and even though he got some good things done he’s just in over his head in that environment.

I think it's due to his business background. Meaning he is used to running the show and people doing what he asks. President of the USA is not a monarchy and has limited areas where it is only his call. He did well on foreign relations due to this and was terrible on the home front where he had to work with congress.

Basically everything he got done domestically was through EOs that were instantly reversed.

His Chief of Staff will be everything. He needs a rock star. He needs someone who doesn't think he is an imbecile. He needs someone who is strong enough to pick 100% of this staff and appointments. I am not sure that person exists, but otherwise would be the same. Have someone govern and pick those who do while Trump tweets or truths or whatever. That is the ONLY way

He can do no wrong 2nd term as long as GOP holds House.

He's going to have to go Elon Musk on Twitter on all the alphabet agencies. Total teardown of beuracracy.

No chance Trump let's the swamp trick him over and over again this time. He has learned and changed in so many ways, totally different guy than 2016. Much more mature, I have a hard time believing how much better his staffing has been since he stopped having a staff.

Yeah this is going to be a struggle point for each side based on part-propaganda and part-effectiveness analysis. I'm guessing the positive figures for Trump represent the obstruction presented for the ease of crossing. That doesn't mean the opposition (traffickers) can't adjust. Thus, I'm inclined to not acknowledge the 90 percent thought (wherever that came from). I'm also not inclined to believe we only built 52 miles or whatever that witch on CNN tried to repeatedly drive down the throats of the viewers. But I'll still side with the Trump argument, walls work, and an open border policy is only useful if you somehow believe communism is a great end-goal for our country. So if you're somehow thinking a RINO candidate or Dem is going to resolve this situation, why are you trying to diminish what Trump started to fix?

The trump hiring staff/cabinet members cycle
1. Hire made. This board goes crazy calling it a home run hire “drain da swamp!!!”
2. Trump ends up trashing the person on social media while firing them. This board agrees that said hire was always a cuck loser and part of the swamp.
3. Rinse and repeat

This. He's not running for the office of King.

And the problem is that his massive, highly narcissistic ego will not allow him to approach the situation in any way except a dictatorial one.

That doesn't work with this job. Or, as you pointed out, to the extent that it does, it only works temporarily.

With Trump we'll get better foreign relations and better appointed judges than we would with a Democrat in office, but probably not better than just about any other Republican.

He does enforce immigration law to a decent degree, and he does bring some ideas to the table regarding tariffs and the like that no other Republicans will. Still not sure whether those are good or bad ideas, but they are interesting.

Other than that, I'm not sure what the big advantage of having that specific guy in office are. We need a Republican this time around...I don't like to think about another Biden presidency, but I can't see a big argument for why it's got to be Trump.

I'll vote for whoever has the best chance to beat Biden. If that ends up being Trump, so be it. If it ends up being someone else, that's fine too.

DJT wasn’t given an opportunity to govern with the freedom BHO was given.
From the moment he took office he was having to fight for this country with essentially one hand tied behind his back.
Attack after attack, fake BS was created to obstruct his term in office.
For that I’ll vote for him again and yes, I hope he goes scorched earth on those traitors should he win 2024.

Only a bootlicker would work for Trump, because he demands bootlicking from his subordinates. That’s one of the problems with Trump, you get a shite team.

While true, again...what do you expect to be different this time around?

You think the outside forces will be LESS likely to do those things again?

CNN needs the ratings boost. President Trump should remove them from the press corps.
