Very pro Bush until sometime in late 05, imho. Then increasingly dour. By the end, most of his supporters were just glad it was over. We had more of a hard-core group and less drive-by shitstains and there were some blood feuds because there were so many less posters to keep track of. Probably a slightly higher liberal ratio because of less overall posters.

Lefts complaining about all kinds of stupid shite
Rights defiantly disagreeing even though the left was mostly right

I didn't even lurk then but I just know it was complete and total defense of anything that wasn't "left." Rush gave the marching orders to the same sheep who call everyone who isn't currently a Trumpkin sheep. In other words it was and is, groupthink at its finest.

Actually, it wasn't that bad back then. There were far less people on TD. There was a lot better discourse.

Moonbats. Moonbats everywhere.

There were more people being called unhinged moonbat loons.

Pretty pro-GOP, as expected. I wasn't here until later in the W years. But at the time the Dems weren't quite as crazy and unhinged and openly racist. More discussion about policy than now, bc liberals actually had policy arguments.

I was around in 2007 and then signed onto this account a few years later for reasons I will not divulge and I can attest to this version of events as factually valid.
The bailouts and TARP was the last straw for a lot of people as that completely symbolized Bush's fiscal liberalism and what a complete joke his bullshite that he called compassionate conservatism was.
Jersey Tiger was a driving force in that mindset. We all owe Toothpick an apology though as he's been proven right.
