He's a walking autoerotic Hegelian dialectic.

"On the one hand.... Blah blah blah. But on the other hand.... Blah blah blah."

You're not saying anything, Mr. President.

So the President does everything he possibly can to incite a revolt then calls a press conference to tell us to focus on the good.

But when is it a good time to bring it up that the disparities between justixe in certain populations?

According to this board, it's never a good time to hear about the racial discriminatory foundations our forefathers left us with.

His first mistake is speaking at all on local matters.

He's a sack of shite that likes to pour gas on fires with inflammatory remarks like "The Police acted Stupidly".

Tomorrow.
Sleep on it. Watch this shot happen in the street. Then speak. What happens tonight could bigger than Michael brown. Just wait. Don't jump right up and speak while the teargas starts to fly and cop cars get turned over.

Thats 200 years of systematic racism, terrorism, and discrimination against one group. People are fed up (not saying this is the right way to go about it because it is not. I wholly disagree with the rioting, as there are more constructive ways to voice disent)

Maybe we should address why people feel so discriminated against and look at the underlying reasons why, insteading always disregarding their dissent, as we have done at every point in history. It would require black and white people to take a good look at themselves in the mirror. An uncomfortable look.

This the same conversation we should have had after the civil war, jim crow, and the civil rights acts. But for some reason, we always run away from the raw and real talk that we must have to heal up any residual pain. Because in the midst of that anarchy and unlawfulness, I personally see a pained group.

Life is pain. There are no solutions for that. There will be no Federal solution or legal solution which takes away the pain of life.

I'm not excusing structural racism or abuse of power. I'm just saying that if those are completely eliminated, life still holds pain. You don't get to loot a liquor store when you're in pain.

I agree with you 100%.

I just think we have to discuss these things now rather than later. We had opportunites to do it in the past and we either skipped out on those opportunites or quite weren't ready to discuss them.

This wins the award for phrase I never thought I'd read on the Rant. Though it is one of the better summations of Obama I've come across.

Never has a man said so much and yet so little at the same time. Well, maybe Eisenhower but he generally meant to do it.

This is not a local issue this is a national issue if it were a local issue all these national reporters would not be there.

Hence he needs to respond.
