No. 1 issue: We probably see a conservative seat on the SCOTUS given to a liberal.

No. 2 issue: If Biden places 2 or 3 liberals on SCOTUS, we will see the 2A attacked and gun control enforced.

No. 3: Open borders will become law.

No. 4: Government will create a lot of money to pay for massive illegal migration into the US.

No. 5: That will spike inflation to higher levels.

No. 6: More war all over the globe with the US paying for most of it.

I mean, Biden and Trumps disapproval ratings are very similar at the end of their first term.

But Biden is now in office and logically, the voters should hold him responsible for the countries ills.

Republicans said the same about Obama in 2012. Republicans lost a very winnable election.

Well, they probably would but you nominated Trump and that is where the problem lies and makes this not so cut and dried. It's not like Biden will be running against Reagan or even Bush I or Clinton. It's Trump one of the most disliked politicians of modern time. What should be a slam dunk election for Republicans will be very close.

As a result of changes to voting laws in 2020, the left starts off with 240+ electoral votes guaranteed.

There's no such thing as a "slam dunk" election for Republicans.

Welp. Maybe don't elect people who will rubber stamp things like the CARES Act etc.

The country is too divided for there to be a landslide one way or another. I do know this if it were Reagan, Bush I, or hell even Bush II going up against Biden in November it wouldn't be close. Trump is the lone guy that will struggle to get a win with Biden awful resume.

I’d put up Trump’s presidential accomplishments against Biden’s any day.
Of course, In order to compare them, Joe would have to have some.
When asked about his accomplishments, his own staff can only mutter something about lowered insulin costs.

Spending money? Because that is all either of them have done. Spend trillions hence why we have the inflation we do.

Same strategy. Trading your children's quality of life to boost chances of re-election now.

The man wanted to blow up the budget just to get re-elected. And still failed.

You know nothing. The brain-dead zombie hordes will vote "team democrat" if Jeffrey Dahmer is running with a D by his name.

Will vote against Trump no matter what. The others at least would have a punchers chance. Biden's resume is awful but so is Trump's and therein lies the problem. Spending trillions and 'stimulus' isn't a successful business model long term and both Trump and Biden have embraced that to the extreme.

He can win because the election will come down to approximately ~80-90k voters in 4-6 states. The national "approval rating" polls are completely irrelevant to the actual election.

Let me give you an example as to why blue states like Washington will always vote Democrat.

In 2022, Patty Murray ran attack ads against Tiffany Smiley associating her with...wait for it...not Donald Trump...MITCH MCCONNELL.

So what’s your realistic solution Roger when we now only have Biden or Trump as choices?

Hopefully a very low turnout.

One so low it embarrasses both parties.

The choice going forward is to stop electing the shiny objects.

You are correct. I phrased that very poorly, I apologize. I don't think those two will be the Republican and Democrat candidates respectively, in the presidential election in November.

But I'm wrong a lot, so...
