The answer is, “How the hell would I know?” – the governor runs the tightest ship in the business, and not only do his peeps not leak, but you’ll never catch him lying on top of his covers in a robe, hair in curlers and kicking his painted toenails with the telephone receiver up to his ear calling up Maggie Haberman and asking “Whatchya doin’?”

But the fact that Team Heavy D is not out there briefing the world on its strategy does not mean he doesn’t have one. The Trump team wants you to think that the RDS campaign is in chaos because the guy who was president is in the lead, pretty substantially, over six months before the first vote gets cast. But then, if pre-election year polls were particularly predictive, we would have had President Jeb! And Merrick Garland now would be on SCOTUS explaining that free speech isn’t free and the right to keep and bear arms actually refer only to the kind of guns you pump at the gym instead of giving “Get Out of Jail Free” cards to the junkie kids of corrupt pols.

Win Iowa by campaigning more there, highlight Ron’s conservative policies and wins, and appealing to evangelicals.

Compete strongly in NH, after which it will be clear it’s a two man race.

Compete strongly South Carolina, again proving it to be a two man race.

Everyone else drops out.

Win Nevada.

Win Super Tuesday.

Win it all.

Get Trump on a debate stage and make the Bret Baier interview look like softball time.

Or force Trump to cower out of debates and make him look like he’s not willing to earn votes.

Then it’s game on.

That is a great plan for achieving victory. The only way it happens is if Trump is taken out of the race. If the polls are anywhere close to being accurate (I don't trust polls much) then the lead Trump has is basically insurmountable.

Jjdick, fat cucktard, and jdawg aren’t gonna like this… nope, not one bit.

They’ll be along shortly to tell you why running your big mouth, putting down past loyal supporters and drinking Bud Light is a good thing.

Edit: That DV was quick! Struck a nerve huh guys?

DeSantis Strategy

This passes as journalism?

quote:

Trump presents himself as unbeatable with an insurmountable lead, though his lead has slowly been surmounted. It’s dropping, but DeSantis’s numbers do not yet seem to be rising. Trump clearly knows who his main target is, and it’s not Mr. Friendly Tim Scott, Pious Pence, Establishment Nikki, or Trump’s tech bro Mini-Me Vivek. The Florida governor has a winning record and a bunch of achievements, and in typical Trump fashion, they go right at his strong points. COIVD hero? No, DeSantis was a COVID zero because of reasons, and ignore those videos of Trump hugging the Fauc and also MEATBALL!

If there are any objective Ron supporters anymore, ya'll should be embarrassed trotting out this garbage as if it somehow helps Desantis.

The whole article is about Trump so that's what we should take from this ? That Desantis's strategy is to bring up Trump at every turn. No wonder he's falling in the polls.

Good luck with that though as I'm sure it's working

He’s the favorite based on current polling, but a good portion of his support is open to the idea of other candidates, there’s a big portion of GOP voters who just won’t vote for him, and when it gets consolidated to a two man race DeSantis tends to pick up more support than he does. The race is far from over.

They have to have Trump in jail. That was their wager. We'll see if that works out for Rob.

He needs a bold idea hook. He doesn't have one.

Trump's building the wall was a bold idea hook in 2016. Nobody can tell me what DeSantis's is. It needs to be more than, hey I'm not Trump.

His bold idea is to win the fricking election this time.

Yeah, that's not one. That's why his momentum is minimal. Someone who actually wants him to win should understand and see this.

The Trump strategy this time seems to be a suicidal campaign focused on revenge

That may be the case. My point really has nothing to do with him, though.

What’s Trump’s hook?

“I’m a victim, vote for me”?

his strategy is for his GOPe buddies along with the deep state to find a way to stop trump from running.

its all the hope ron has, he is GOPe and everyone knows it so he cannot win unless they put trump in jail for fabricated BS
