What is going on in New York?

Yesterday I heard it was a disaster waiting to happen. They were screaming about everything from vents to masks to open.
There were going to be people don't in the hallways of hospitals.
Today literally nothing. There is a strange silence going on. Could be bad or could be good. Uncle Donny I'm guessing got their ppe.
Vents yesterday were not enough. Now nothing.
Any news?

New York City/Westchester would rank 6th in the world for admitted, confirmed cases. It is rising rapidly.
Meanwhile, China is admitting to only 100 new cases a day but closed its borders to foreigners. Hmmm.

It was never going to be what they predicted and they know it now. Numbers flattening even with increased testing.

Theyre still crammed into the subway system like sardines. Morning and Evening. I can understand healthcare professionals going to and from work, where is everyone else going?

Look, I am just asking a question. I don't know. Of course people are going to die. There is an incredible amount of it there.
But it was critical today. Is the news actually being responsible and not sensationalizing death?
I'm hoping it's because perhaps things have stabilized to a degree. Large amount of new cases but perhaps not quite as many as expected? Maybe it's just too early to tell and by tonight there is going to be a spike.
Until I hear otherwise, no news is better than horrible news.
But I'm pulling for them.

Cuomo was getting a little anxious about a projected deficit of ventilators but I think the fed gov gave him assurances that their needs will be met. Of course the mainstream media made a big deal about it.
