Oh, well that's good. For a minute there I thought you were going to justify government overreach with an absurd assumption.

At first I thought I hated you. Now I see me and you do have some things in common. We just disagree on some issues. I still think you are a hardcore dem, but completely confused because you don't trust big government at all.

Are you for abortion? A woman's choice, but you do not want a choice for us on vaccinations?

Just to make sure I understand completely...what areas of our bodies should we have control over and which areas should the government control?

I'm for abortion is certain situations - rape, etc. I'm opposed to it being used as a method of contraception.

Vaccinations aren't just "you". It impacts multiple people. A cop can pull you over for driving dangerously even if you haven't actually hurt someone, but there's no repercussion for sending an infected child to school and killing a leukemia patient.

I'm pretty Libertarian, but that stops when the actions directly cause harm to others. I'm pro-gun, but if you decide that playing with your gun is a fun time and you shoot someone in the head by mistake, you suffer the consequences - you go to prison.

I believe in vaccinations. All my autistic kids are vaccinated and protected from infectious diseases.

Big government? Hell, I don't trust the smallest of government.

But thanks for the laugh.

You can't hide your love of socialism under the guise of being a libertarian

Also it was totally an inside job.

Most of the immunologist world has awakened to the fact that herd immunology is a myth and unvaccinated people don't present any more danger than normal.

The actual latest events of measles outbreaks had patient zeros (originators) that were all vaccinated.

Don't be a lemming.

I'm not anti-vaccination. My mother had me vaccinated and I'm fortunate that it all worked out. I just want smaller dosages over a longer period of time. Stop pumping so much into our children at once. We need to stop acting like there is a "one size fits all" vaccination for MMR, etc.

Good to see some sane viewpoints around here on this subject. Real scientific safety testing would be a good thing to add, IMO.

No I know who you are. I gave you many downvotes (understatement) during the election.

Slowly over time I realize you are as distrustful as me. I still have the impression that you wanted the witch to win. Also your idea that the establishment wanted trump to win still seems silly. He seems to still be under fire from them. Though I have heard others claim the same.

You'll dismiss any link I provide based on your prejudice. I can only tell you what my pediatricians have learned over the last 3-5 years as we take our kids to them.

Their stances have changed a lot in that time.

Google if you want to read about it.

They all love to warn you about the "dangers" of vaccines.

FYI, IMHO, if your kid isn't vaccinated and a kid who CAN'T get vaccinated gets sick (due to, say, being on immunosuppressors from transplant surgery), then you should have to pay for their medical bills.

And be charged with second-degree murder if the kid dies.
What about those who are vaccinated but still get the disease anyway, and happen to spread it to another kid.

Is that acceptable "murder" in your opinion? Or should those parents fry also?

Not as easily as I'll dismiss your unnamed pediatrician seen for an indeterminate amount of time.

I didn't "want" her to win; I thought she would win. YUUUUUUGE difference. How you didn't see that in my many posts I don't know.

What's silly about it? The establishment plays to win. That's why they are the establishment.

This has been proven to be incorrect in the real world.

In France, vaccinations dropped from 95% to 89% for Measles.

During that same stretch, cases went from 40 to 15,000.

Herd immunology is insanely critical.

Yes. Safety study #208,163 will surely shed some light that the previous 208,162 studies missed.
