What do Robert Kennedy Jr, Alex Jones, and Rob Schneider all have in common?

They all love to warn you about the "dangers" of vaccines.

FYI, IMHO, if your kid isn't vaccinated and a kid who CAN'T get vaccinated gets sick (due to, say, being on immunosuppressors from transplant surgery), then you should have to pay for their medical bills.

And be charged with second-degree murder if the kid dies.

What else do you feel the government should force you to do with your body?

I'm pretty okay with the government saying it's not okay to murder kids.

Then are you also okay with the government mandating what you should or shouldn't do?

It's amazing how fast these debates jump to murder.

I really not concerned about autism with vaccines but more how well do the current vaccines work and if they are still necessary in some cases.

Oh, well that's good. For a minute there I thought you were going to justify government overreach with an absurd assumption.

You are normally pretty level headed but this......

Do you mean if the kid that cannot get vaccinated catches something from the kid whose family refuses to get vaccinated? or are talking about two unrelated people/things?

I mean, if I say I am not going to have my son vaccinated in Georgia and a kid in California that cannot be vaccinated gets sick, why should we be penalized?

I THINK I know where you are going, but it is not clear.

My doctor was concerned with the effectiveness of the Pertussis/Tetanus vaccine.

I hate that people are not allowed to get the measles vaccine without getting rubella thrown in. I have ethical concerns with that one and it really is not ahigh risk disease.

I have ethical concerns with Chicken Pox as well. I feel that is more of a convenience vaccine and is not life or death.

Gets caught by a kid in close proximity.

The second one is more hyperbole, honestly, though I cannot imagine a parent having to bury their child because another one thought Jenny McCarthy was a reliable source of medical information.

That, and playing the extreme card is a favorite on this board. Figured I'd give it a go. That said, there should be a penalty for knowingly putting children in danger. If you don't think so, try blowing through a school zone at 80 mph and see if the government doesn't have a say in the matter.

Are you for abortion? A woman's choice, but you do not want a choice for us on vaccinations?

Just to make sure I understand completely...what areas of our bodies should we have control over and which areas should the government control?

I have no problem with you playing the extreme card. It's fun sometimes.

I get what you mean, now. I THOUGHT that was what you meant, but just wanted to make sure.
