I think you don't understand this truth. People have the right to do whatever they want including speaking out about those who protest the national anthem. Why don't you understand this? I served in the armed forces for those cry babies to protest and I'd do it all over again so that they can cry. Their freedom to protest the national anthem doesn't take away my freedom to voice my discuss with there actions.
Do you think this way because you feel like his rights are above my rights?

So all Presidents since the advent of televised news have had fascist tendencies?

No, there's not.

Let me know when he signs a Congressional resolution condemning the NFL protesters as a hate group and their actions as domestic terrorism.

Congress put the Charlottesville resolution on his desk... could you imagine if he didn't sign it? Don't use that as some sort of defense, when his opinions are clear when he speaks.

Do you not see a difference in the extent to which he does this? He's got all of his followers calling everything they don't like "fake news".

Again, it's about the extent. It's fine if you don't see it. I'm just telling you it's there.

If you have the right to protest, shouldn't I have the right to call you out on it if I disagree?

Isn't you standing up while they sit or kneel disagreeing? Are they yelling at you for standing up?

Listen, I stand for the anthem and I think it's the appropriate thing to do. But people have gone way overboard with this "controversy."

Obama did the same thing.

Obama did the same thing.

See a trend? Yeah, presidents do these things. Maybe Trump has done more of it, but they all do it.

And i'm telling you it's not there, based on the definition of fascism and actions that are considered fascist.

I'm talking actual definition, not definition expanded to fit a narrative.

Show me where people are advocating that the players should be arrested or otherwise physically barred from kneeling?

...and I'm not talking about owners telling players they can't kneel.

we do understand it and agree with it, what you don't seem to understand is that we also have the freedom to spend our money the way we want, it's ours. You have the freedom to make your own choices, now you have to live with those choices, can you do that without whining is the question.

actions(choices) have consequences, deal with it like an adult please.

I'm seeing a bunch of people calling the kneelers pieces of shite for kneeling, but not saying they should be physically barred from kneeling or arrested or anything like that.

It's pretty much all been "You have a right to kneel, but you're a piece of shite for doing so and hate your country and troops and puppies and kittens!"

There have also been calls for them to be fired and for the NFL to disallow it. We even had a nice little influx of fake Facebook posts yesterday claiming the NFL already disallows it. One dude even suggested the entire NFL should be fired if they don't stand for the national anthem.

I haven't seen too many pushing for legislation on this, at least not here, but that doesn't mean no one has said they shouldn't be allowed to do it.

It's too bad that your understanding of the 1st amendment is at about 3rd grade level.

Our wonderful president took a harder stance against a few guys kneeling during the anthem than he did against the guys in this pic.

One is relevant. One is not. I'll let you make that decision on which is.

Oh I'm sure there are some whackadoodles out there who are advocating for the players to be shot or something equally stupid...but as a whole, no one is saying their kneeling should be illegal. Which is the point I was making.
