Yep.

And I do not feel the need to play nice with them.

Could someone please give me Cliff Notes what this is all about? Thanks.

Ditto.

I'm pretty sure that I don't give a rat's arse, but I am mildly curious.

Nah, she's as nasty as her commercials.

Unless you mean "nice lady" in the same sense as Blanco, ie too dumb to be governor, she isn't.

Nice people don't file frivolous lawsuits against newspapers for endorsing their opponent. More importantly, nice people don't walk out on a marriage the day after their spouse finishes paying off their student loan.

She's a fricking sleaze bag. She married a guy as a single mom, let him put her through school and then divorced him after he paid off her school and gave up rights to her kids so she could start a career.

Then she did the typical political thing of pushing things through the senate that benefited her law firm and practice. But that's not Germaine to republicans or democrats.

Don't forget that he also raised the kids by himself while she was halfway across the country going to law school. She's in the John Edwards/Newt Gingrich league when it comes to being a terrible human being.

And ditching her kids was completely unnecessary. I know plenty of women who have careers and kids. It just shows she doesn't care about them.

Someone correct me if I am wrong but didn't Abbott only advocate in the referenced cases on behalf of the state of Texas? That to me is the most egregious part of the ad.

Dunno--didn't watch the ad and don't know the background.

But if you're the state attorney general, you have an obligation to represent the state's official position (including statutes) even if you don't agree with them.

The alternative would that any interest group can overturn any law simply by challenging it in court and having a sympathetic attorney general refuse to defend against the lawsuit.
