Yeah. Pretty much.

Wingnuts love science and scientists up until they conflict with their belief systems......then they are paid for hacks. (see Global Warming and evolution).

But they'll sure as hell trot that one guy one there that agrees with them with the quickness!

Again, how is that any different from what the other side does?

Considering the libs have already exhibited this. Deflect, discredit, avoid the subject. Pots, kettles, and such.

Seriously. People need to stop denying climate change. Denying climate change is the scarlet letter of idiocy. People will continue to provide anecdotal "expert" deniers, but those anecdotes cannot challenge universally accepted scientific fact.

Bought in? If by bought in you mean I accept the scientific community's consensus that climate change is real, then yes, I've bought in. Lock, stock, and barrel.

Many of the TD Poli crowd question the validity of actual temperature readings. As if the meteorological field itself is part of the global, conspiratorial money grab so often cited around here. I recall one poster asking "why do we even have NOAA?"

Thus, threads like this always go in circles. There is no convincing with that level of skepticism.

There are plenty here that will deflect from any "science" that has been proven to be faulty or worthy of skepticism.

fricking please. Hatred of science and scientists seems to be quite a conservative phenomenon.

As soon as the overwhelming majority of climate scientists change their tune you see my arse up in here saying "climate change is a lie" until then I'll trust the people who devote their lives to the subject......just like I do with medical doctors, structural engineers...you know the professionals. Not a bunch of half-assed political forum hacks who get their info from Drudge and Limbaugh.

ETA: Ohh, I forgot, all the scientific support for AGW is bought and paid for and all the anti-AGW "science" is purely non monetized!!! Sorry guys I keep forgetting! Ill get it right eventually!

Funny how AGW/man made global warming has slipped away into the night. Use to be used around here all the time.

And no. No one denies climate change. What IS in question by many around here is AGW. Man made global warming.

For the one millionth time.

You say that is if that is any different from any other day here.

That being said we have had more rain this year then ever since I have lived here (like 20 years).

Climate change is happening...I just don't think we are the cause.

every industrial generator we sell, we have to pay the EPA around 8,000 bucks....we are using the same emission standards that we used 10 years ago, now they just make us pay to use it.

all they want is money, they aren't concerned with changing anything because they know we are not at any real risk of "man made" emissions damage.
