Maga was outraged by the Social Media platforms censoring speech about covid, the election, etc.

Now they want to censor anti Israel speech.

The left doesn't care about the constitution. But I thought conservatives did.

You know there are political prisoner's in the US now right? Why would any of you support the government and big tech censoring anyone?

Is free speech à la carte?

Why would people who have been designated a "domestic terrorist" threat support this government in anything they do... ever?

Most Americans are too stupid to think beyond their own initial feelings.

I am fine with them censoring Hamas linked social media accounts. Hamas is terrorist organization who has already killed countless thousands of people. Censoring them is a bit different than censoring Americans over election memes.

I've never had a problem with social media censoring propaganda linked directly to foreign governments. (I am talking accounts controlled directly by foreign governments, not some guy in Omaha falsely accused of being a Russian).

I would say most people on here were cheering on MTG for trying to censure Tlaib.

Censure and censor are not the same thing.

Well, the problem there is the supposed experts lied about who were Russian bots. And Twitter knew it all along.

Maybe, but I dont see people wanting to censor her, which the guy stated.

I appreciate knowing who espouses terrible ideology, myself.

Antisemtic speech and writing should be allowed. When it is a specific violent call for action, it should not be. Pretty simple.

You can say frick the Jews but you can't add "this Tuesday by killing them on Main st".

I think "from The river to the sea" obviously has enough linguistic deniability to qualify as protected speech. Even though every intellectually honest person knows it is a way to say "Exterminate the Jews" with plausible deniability. It's like saying "Let me tell you about Mein Kampf". You may indeed be talking about your idyllic Pecker-wood life on the farm, even though we know it has another meaning. The State can't decide such things.

Also, there has to be room for parody and satire and using ironic language to prove a point. Like. "I'd like to Carpet bomb Hollywood" isn't a literal statement of intent. It's just a rhetorical lament.

Logical, rational, and well thought out responses like this never get the upvotes that absurd shitpost responses get on this site, but many of us appreciate them when they are posted.

Those of you who aren't seeing this... it is there. It is happening on YouTube and X. All I can suggest is that you look for it.

We are currently in the phase of weak men make hard times phase of our societal development.

The only hope for us is to make sure that the constitutional structure of our goverment remains intact, and is restored, so that the hard times make stronger men (and women). There's really no other hope.

Same as the ppl who champion. The first and 2nd ammendment not acknowledging the 3rd and actively supporting Israel military who has forcibly quartered themselves in palestinians homes for decades. Only constitutional when convenient
