What's the call love or hate?

Comey was a hero to the Democrats then he was scum then he was a hero again then scum again and now he's a martyr.

Depends on who you are?

And when you ask them.

He's been both loved and hated by partisans for different reasons - all political.

However, one thing that cannot be debated, is that he was not good at his job and deserved to be fired for that reason.

We shouldn't love or hate him, if he was doing his job correctly. Comey is an attention whore who was only concerned with his own image.

He put himself into a no win position. Some could say he was put into a no win..... but in the end, he put himself into a no win situation.

Hate/Love doesn't really apply for me. He simply got caught up and had to go.

Neither. I have said for months that I can't figure him out and he's either a crook or incompetent. So I'm glad he's gone.

For me it's love and hate. Love him because he got rid of Hilldawg. Hate him because he gave President Trump so much grief. Overall I feel like the termination was justified and the right move.

Comey really blew his chance for love when he refused to lock Hillary up.

Neither love nor hate. I'm a grown up. I do not understand Comey and his actions, but I do believe that the President did the right thing in firing Comey.

Even if he believed HRC didn't deserve prosecution, it's not his place to recommend publicly, that the AG not do so. Also, his handling of Wiener days before the elction smelled fishy.

People's reactions to Comey over the last few months have solidified my belief that the vast majority of the population has picked a team and will root for that team no matter what. Take military against a country or don't, fire the director of the FBI or don't, be for or against certain healthcare provisions or not, very few people actually develop their own thoughts on the subject. When something happens, everyone waits for their chosen media organization's marching orders, then acts like the only possible way a reasonable person could think about the given subject is X.

It's fricking depressing.

I haven't seen a single poster say he shouldn't have been fired. It's all about the timing. Should have been done a long time ago but trump the candidate loved him then.

Not sure what people are going on about tonight regerring to flipping and flopping. All of that came from the trump camp.

He was uniquely hated and loved to extremes by both the right and left over the last 8 months.

You either truly suck or are doing a great job when that happens. He was the former.
