Watch Virginia Today,It Could Be A Little Window Into 2024*UPDATED OP: Disaster For Repubs

It’s a bit of a localized nationwide political proxy war in Old Dominion that could offer some previews of the next year.
Republicans want to keep control of the state House and flip the state Senate, where they are outnumbered 18-22.
Youngkin and Republicans have emphasized transparent government, schools and particularly transgender policies, and fiscal responsibility, along with a ban on abortion after 15th week of pregnancy, with exceptions. Democrats have emphasized the abortion issue.
Republicans have spent $4M. Democrats have spent $7M.
Youngkin has spent considerable time, effort, and capital campaigning for Republicans in the state. Biden, Harris, the Maryland governor have all campaigned for Democrats, and Obama has been robocalling the past two weeks to get out the left vote.
Also, the entire notorious transgender crime coverup, fbi informant, silencing, reporting, and arresting parents Loudon School Board is on the ballot. Let’s see if any of them lose their seats.
***UPDATE BELOW***
Welp, the shine has worn off Youngkin. It was not a good night for him and Republicans.
- Republicans lost control of the House, where they did hold a 52-48 majority. Right now, the election is headed to a 47-53 Democrat majority with two races still being counted.
- Republicans hoped to flip the Senate, where they were outnumbered 18-22. Right now, the election results are headed to a 17-23 advantage for Democrats.
- In an election year riddled with controversial transgender school issues that were emphasized by Youngkin and Republicans in the elections…Virginia voters just elected the first ever transgender to the State Senate in response.
- Regarding the controversial Loudoun County School Board, all 9 seats (8 Democrats, 1 independent) were up for election. The results are now 7 Democrats, 1 independent, and 1 Republican.
Below are some snippets from local Virginia newspapers…

Democrats ran largely on preserving abortion access, launching a wave of ads that declared a vote for their party was a vote to stop Youngkin from passing his proposal to ban most abortions after 15 weeks. Youngkin had portrayed that plan as a reasonable limit because it would have allowed exceptions for cases of rape and incest and when the mother’s life or physical health is at risk. The GOP effort to defuse abortion as a motivating issue for Democratic-leaning voters wasn’t enough to stop the tide in the suburban battlegrounds. In an interview, Jamie Lockhart, executive director of Planned Parenthood Advocates of Virginia, said “abortion rights won.” “Voters showed up,” Lockhart said.

In another Northern Virginia contest, Del. Danica Roem, D-Prince William, triumphed over Republican Bill Woolf, making her the first transgender person ever elected to the state Senate.
quote:
Michelle Moore, 77, couldn’t name the Democratic candidates whom she voted for the Loudoun School Board after voting at Harper Rock Middle School in Leesburg. But it didn’t quite matter. Both Anne Donohue, running in the at-large seat, and Harris Mahedavi, running in the Ashburn district, appeared on the Democratic sample ballot. And that was good enough for her — particularly with regards to what it meant for LGBTQ students.

It'll be interesting to see if MAGA telling Republicans not to vote in VA will have any effect at all either.
VA is blue-ish purple, so it might help actually help Youngkin and Republicans there, I don't know.

There is a way to turn Virginia Red Again but you have to get a Rep in the White House to do it.
Move a bunch of agencies to California. Nothing they can do about it but move .

he was on the establishments radar. they must have chosen him for another role, another year?
obviously they had Neocon Nikki in the warm-up dugout in case meatball failed to launch. Youngkin was busy and Tim Scott was a dud like Meatball.
How do you make a club sammich in DC? Paul Ryan, Frank Luntz, MTG & Kev.

Desantis also claimed to be running for governor too but we all know he was already thinking about running for president

That was a year ago. And I'll remind you he crushed his opponent, despite all the whining and ridiculous unprovoked attacks from Trump back then of a sitting GOP governor running for re-election.
Problem for the Youngkin theory is that he has already missed some key caucus/primary deadlines. So that's why you say catlady in here filling in the blanks to advance the plot in her fanfiction.

Is "Loomering" making fake social media accounts to stalk ex-boyfriends who blocked her?
Because that sounds like something she would do.
