I believe this is his father learning that some of his other sons (this guy's brothers) were killed recently.

The Israelis have not acted as paragons of virtue in this. Israelis take Palestinian land and kill people Palestinians get pissed. Palestinians strike back killing Israelis in Kibbutzes and at times in bombings in the cities. Israel throws up a wall to keep them in, but not necessarily does it keep the Israelis out. Both sides break agreements.....both sides avoid even trying to come to an agreement.

Although that guy is the son of one of the Hamas guys, he is actually a Christian and most definitely on the IDF payroll. He’s basically saying get rid of the entire gaza population which is exactly what Israel wants

Not in Christian theology. The only thing that is the "word of God" is what Jesus said. You and others may consider the OT God's word, that is your right but it isn't directly any words God or Jesus said per se.
I do believe Israel has the right to pursue HamAss almost any way they choose though.

Friend, the Israeli people are not Christians. As such, the Old Testament is the one and only Word of God for them.
