Flag burning falls under free speech. It is protected. See numerous Supreme Court rulings. However misguided a message is behind the flag burning is not and should not ever be the point. When a person exercises the right to free speech it is not disrespecting that right. In fact exercising that right is one of the cornerstones of America and its history.
