Seems that is biting him in the arse now. They definitely have an axe to grind...it's disgusting because they are intentionally trying to destroy the president and it can put national security at risk by leaking this type of info and causing instability in the WH.

I wonder how far they'll take this? Will it end with Flynn as a warning shot to Trump or are they already going to leak more info with a compliant media to force a Trump impeachment or resignation?

Are these actual questions or rhetorical questions?

No. The standard operating procedure in the IC has run so far afoul of the Constitution that it needs to be reined in, even at a cost.

I agree, though publicly getting in a pissing match may not have been the best strategy.

Then again, being loud and up front about it may save his life. Had he tried to quietly purge the IC, they could have operated more quietly themselves and the people never suspected the IC to be politically targeting the administration

Nothing he can do about Obama and other leftist appointees hanging around.

The IC is the very essence of the swamp that Trump needs to drain. They've been out of control for decades now and really ramped it up when Bush 43 took the leash off with the patriot act and the DNI.

Obama made it worse last month when he made it possible for agencies to share their info without much paperwork at all and this was pretty much under the radar.

If it is, he should literally clean house. If members of the USIC are working at odds with the Executive Branch, they should be identified and at least fired.

Brennan was a political stooge. He damaged morale in the IC. He's gone, fortunately! The question is whether Brennan loyalists remain. If they do, and they place political loyalty over shutting up and doing their jobs, then they should GTFO!

I'm not in disagreement. I'm just saying how far will they take it? This could be a political battle for the books.

IC has a lot of power and it will tough to reign in if they utilize all assets to fight it. I hope Trump prevails

probably b/c the Executive Branch is incompetent.

Why is everyone suddenly wanting this group to be treated with respect when they are the most incompetent group of "Leaders" we have had.

Because of this idiot gang I know who carries the nuclear codes.

Haha.....he didn't attack them for that reason. He attacked them because his panties wadded up in his vagina when they pointed out the dangers of Russia, Russian hacking and other issues that were contradictory to his omnipotent opinion. DJT doesn't care about the constitution. But nice try.

He deserves every bit of it.

He tried to destroy them by attacking their hard work and integrity.

Now he is looking more and more corrupt with Russians being his puppet master.

Wrong for him personally, but right for the country.

This is kind of what the new season of Homeland is about. The CIA is plotting against the president-elect and leaking info about her to the media.

Just clean house, it's obvious the Kenyan completely politicized the community like every other thing he shat on.

They knew Russia had direct knowledge/evidence that Flynn was lying to the VP and the American people. The security risk was the leverage that gave them, basically giving them a proxy at the US security table. This is much more a case of a whistleblower, not a leak.

bullshite. Most people in the IC go to work, do their jobs, and go home. Politics is and will always be the problem in the community.
