Phishing (the method used) sends an email to the target asking for a password change to their acct. They then give the account and password to the person who asked for it.
They then use the account and password to log in. In no way shape or form is this hacking.
It's simply logging into an account, via information acquired from the target (the account holder)
Hacking would be completly different.
