Fair enough. I was going off memory, but knew it was initially a felony. Point remains, he's a criminal by definition.

Okeefe brought down acorn, exposed voter fraud in dc, got dem field operatives fired, and is on the brink of taking down cnn.

You can't just post your fantasies on here. Our posters are generally better informed than that.

At any rate, he's still a criminal, so that label is accurate and fair. Unethical is open to interpretation, but I'd say someone that breaks the law to accomplish their goal is unethical, but there are some grey areas.

See you in the next illegal immigrant thread!

yet Scott Foval, Patrick Moran, numerous ACORN employees, and Vivian Schiller were fired.

guy is a dick and breaks the law. i hope he's prosecuted to fullest extent each time. but don't act like he's not exposing some underbellies here.

Standard globalist procedure. Accuse the other side of doing exactly what they do in order to take the attention off of their crimes.

WaPo rushes out with a baseless piece smearing the whistle blower

Perhaps you would like to show how it is a baseless piece.

Is it baseless to point out that the "operative" who was talking to the CNN guy Bonifield lied to him and also lied to the social services organization so he could get to meet and talk with Bonifield under false pretenses.

If the shoe was on the other foot, you would be calling for O'Keefe and the "operative' to be arrested.

(maybe that's why they refused to give the "operative's" name, for fear he will be arrested).

If you want to talk about okeefes methods, start a thread about that.

If you want to talk about a cnn producer discussing Russia fake news and an obsession with ratings in the absolute absence of truth, stick around.

There's a thread for the van jones tape too, if you want to chime in there.

So talking about how the video was made is not relevant in a discussion about the video itself. Really?

So when someone links to an article, it is not relevant to discuss the motive or possibly other writings by the same author?

I have never posted a laughing emoji in my life (because they are inane and stupid), but that was the first thing that came to mind when I read your inane post.

Yes, really. Do you demand an explanation on horology every time you look at a clock?

Like I said, if you want a "shoot the messenger" thread, start one.

This is basically the same argument used to somehow "discredit" the Clinton/DNC emails. Somehow the information contained in the emails (which was not disputed as fact) was irrelevant because the information was obtained via surreptitious means.

I mean, would you forgive your wife for fricking some stranger just because a third party may have come across such information by surreptitiously hacking into her Facebook account?

O’Keefe pleaded guilty in 2010 to unlawfully entering the New Orleans office of then-Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) after he and three associates went to the office dressed as telephone workers in an alleged attempt to tamper with the senator’s phones. He received three years of probation, a fine of $1,500 and 100 hours of community service.

if he were a libtard and he had done that to a republican Senator he would have been guest speaking at the 2012 DNC and would be the poster child of what hard hitting investigating journalism is all about...

Plead down from what? He was charged under a bullshite law that serves no other purpose than to protect the political class from the villainous crime of journalism. There was no breaking and entering, there was no phone tampering. There was only "entering a federal office under false pretenses". Oh, the horror.
