You are so ignorant and brainwashed. You know nothing about economics or why the tariff is being pushed. It's not about paying for the wall. It's about leveling the playing field and bringing manufacturing back to the US. Walmart is the number one company responsible for nafta, which is basically all about slave labor from Mexicans. You pretend to be a gotcha know it all, but you are a piece of crap for supporting slave labor in Mexico.

So now you guys are at least conceding Trump can plausibly push for us to tax remittances to Mexico?

Everyone should. It sure is a help to poor folks who can't afford to shop at other stores.

I was waiting for Trump's obligatory "oh well, Walmart hasn't been good in 20 years" blast but I see you guys are beating him to it. Very groupthink of you.

Wait! Do you mean that Walmart has products made outside of the US yet tried to deceive the American public by still putting the "Made in the USA" slogan on its website? Well at least until federal investigators forced them to remove the slogan.

Actually we are aware. What we are also aware of is those wages go into the pockets of American workers. The extra money that will take them off govt assistance and improve our economy. Taxing other countries for imports won't have the same effect.

From?

And the corporate tax cuts would likely more than make up for any expense increase on Mexican imports, if Walmart is too greedy to pass the savings onto the consumer that's on them.

Walmart and their failing business can suck it. All they are is a middle man between the govt and welfare recipients anyway.
