Hilarious that the so-called savior of liberals, the golden child of the Democratic Party who was going to spite racist republicans once and for all with his glorious election, will have his signature platform completely wiped from the history books.

But as you can tell, the left is already starting to eat their own and accept that ObamaCare will be destroyed.

But how bad is the SJW melt going to be when healthcare reform (which needed to happen eventually, anyway) is going to be hi-jacked by Trump?

The history books will be re-written TRUMPCARE

Trumpcare will be the government offering a public option.

Trump said he didn't want the people who have insurance now to lose it so that means people with pre existing conditions and kids on their parents insurance to 26.

If you take away the mandate, those groups will lose it, which is the opposite of what trump wants.

I'm just waiting for the media, with straight faces, to proclaim the economy as Trump's on Day One, thereby going straight from Bush's economy to Trump's.

Competition, HSAs, negotiating with providers and drug companies AND expanding medicare will accomplish the stated, but never achievable goals of Obamacare.

We'll have the best Trumpcare folks, that I can tell you.

As it will likely be Tom Price's plan, they should call it Price Conscious.

Not true. Read Pricecare. It keeps guaranteed issue while allowing insurers to impose a penalty on people via the premium if they wait until they're sick before they enroll. Anyone not insured right now is in violation of the mandate so you can argue that it's fair.

Biggest thing that needs to go is the list of essential coverage requirements. Those make it impossible to but a low premium, high deductible plan.

He asked Republicans in Congress to come up with an alternative. I suspect the whole idea of killing Obamacare will die right there.

Good. It's about time they blame a liberal for it.

Agree with you on the validity of the mandate.

But the progs have spent six years arguing that anyone who didn't comply was an irresponsible, selfish deadbeat (and a teabagging, racist, sexist who wanted poor people to die in the street). So they'll have to drop all those arguments down the memory hole if insurers are allowed to impose a higher premium on people who failed to comply AND developed a medical condition while not complying.

Yes, pile government on top of government. That's always worked in the past.

Trump is a liberal. I'm happy with the press blaming a shitty economy on a liberal.

None of that will be necessary.

Trump will appear on TV and tell his flock to lay their hands on their TVs and be healed.
