Vivek could be very effective in Washington. He’s no one’s fool, and I think he would understand how to use the presidents power to get things done.

This is a good move for America now as the republicans need to coalesce around a candidate and a message. (Do other republicans follow soon?).
It’s also a good move for him personally in the future. He has made a name for himself. I sense that Vivek actually wants to be a part of the solution for this country.
