Victim was unconscious and also did not meet requirements for blood sample.

Reprehensible. Cop didn't know policy and completely lost his cool.

Cop should have gotten his face beat for that. The nurse was clearly terrified, correct, hesitant, and no threat.

What a pussy.

Little known fact -

Nurse Wubbels, whose maiden name is Alex Shaffers, was a two-time Olympian in alpine skiing, competing in the 1998 and 2002 Winter Olympics. She credits the toughness she learned from being an Olympic athlete for getting her through the ordeal.

You wish hospital security had the right to pull a gun on the officer in that case. Complete BS, trying to strong arm her.

Since the patient was in an accident caused by a criminal that the police were pursuing, the police probably wanted to find something illegal on the victim in order to protect themselves from liability. POS's to the core.

I agree. Cops that break rules or don't know the laws need to be fired immediately. It should require much more education & training to be an officer.

Some cops get tunnel vision when there is a situation where there is alot of emotion.

I know she was upset, but I hope she enjoys that early retirement on that island she will buy for herself with the proceeds from the lawsuit.

Why didn't they arrest her phone, too. I clearly heard, what I assume to be, her supervisor tell the cop to take a hike as well. She's going to get paid.

No. It's beyond reprehensible. It's criminal assault.

I can't understand how this cop is allowed to stay on the force without consequence.

All the police dept did was remove him from the "blood draw" program. I like to give the LEOs the benefit of the doubt but I can't on this one.

This is what pissed off the a-hole cop. Right when the guy on the phone said "you're making a huge mistake (politely)".

Wow, that pissed me off and I give police the benefit. All she is doing is protecting the patient's rights that the dept agreed to. Not only should he lose his job, but she should file a lawsuit against the dept and the officer.

Completely uncalled for to use force and to even arrest her. Arrest her for what, doing her damn job? Especially since the person they wanted blood from was hit by another person fleeing from police. Complete and utter BS.

I'm confused. Why was the cop even there? What gave him right to trump hospital policy? How does not taking a blood sample warrant an arrest? There are so many questions not answered by this obviously taken out of context video.
