Excuse me? Where have you seen Christians advocating for shooting the rioters? Link?

I will hang up and listen.

Just stop with your faux outrage and race card.

My intolerance for social injustice is right up there with my intolerance for idiots like the man in the video justifying multiple various felonies as a response to an event that hasnt even been fully investigated and the facts exposed yet.

So you can shove your self righteousness right up your uptight arse.

So how do you feel about the riot and looting?

How do you feel about the justification for the above felonies given by the man in the video?

How about you actually discuss the topics instead of attacking people with your faux outrage and that full deck of race cards in your back pocket?

I don't condone random acts of looting - nor does the victim's family, as they have plainly stated they will not participate in any more vigils until people get their act together.

Ok, so do you agree that the clown in the video is an idiot and so are the other looters?

Yeah, no. Do your own research.

I do not refer to people as animals, but it is not right to destroy the property of others. If they had an issue they had the means to take it up with the authorities. There is no excuse. They are destroying their own neighborhoods. Businesses will not move back in after what has happened. They have made a horrible situation worse.

Sure. But to me, it's just too easy to rush to the "animals" and "shoot them all" mode instead of trying to actually understand the potential roots of this rottenness.

Essentially, you are only contributing to the problem by piling on stupid videos like this. Move on to something more substantive.

Don't worry. I am sure Reverend Al is on his way to calm the situation.

I was hoping that this incident could spark a national discussion on police misconduct. The rioters have wasted that opportunity. Utterly and completely. But they're too short-sighted to see that.

Sure. And what percentage of the people would you say you are referring to? If it's an extreme minority, then they should be dealt with accordingly and then we can all move on to bigger fish. Unfortunately, I get the sense, as I said, that many people actively enjoy piling on easy targets like this instead of attempting to learn something or do something constructive.

When thousands of white kids riot after West Virginia or Michigan State or whoever wins/loses a big game, are we treated to these same sentiments?

But you taking a few posters' words and applying it to the "religious right" is totally different right? What a hack. You are what you claim to despise, and you don't even hide it well.

Something more substantive? Yea, just ignore the idiots that are rioting and looting. Shame on me for not ignoring hundreds of felonies. Shame on me for pointing this out, I should know my place and sit and be quiet and sulk in my white guilt.

I have never said anything about shooting anyone. You are beating on some serious straw men my friend.

What you said is that the "Christian Right" enjoys the blood lust of this. As an evangelical Christian I find that repulsive and disgusting and I am speaking up because it is not true. You might as well have referred to them as "animals" as well. You meant the same thing.

Deal with individuals (as your own post alludes to) and not in broad brushes.

What percentage of the posters on here sharing those sentiments would you guess say they are NOT Christians and do NOT follow the teachings of Jesus?
