I would if I were you.

They build these wars up to be "do or die", get everybody worked up into a patriotic frenzy, ready to give their last full measure of devotion, and then, 15 or 20 years later, then pull out like they are wiping shite off their shoe.

I feel so bad for our military and vets who fought over there.

But the next time, I will not feel bad for them. Because anyone who falls for Washington's bull shite again, deserves what they get.

My advice to anyone active is get out. You subordinate yourself to people like Milley and The Deep State, and your part of the problem.

Honestly, between this fiasco and the Hate Whitey fest at the Pentagon, why in the ever-living f#&% would a young white man want to join this military now? Clearly you're not defending your country by doing so.

The betrayal was sending them there in the first place

I completely get this sentiment and by no means blame anyone from getting out or not joining.

But all I can say is I sure as hell hope there are still a lot of patriots in the combat ranks of the military like there used to be. Even with Milley and Austin shitting all over them with the woke BS.

Otherwise they'll have no problem turning their guns against us when ordered.

Oh boy. How old are you?

The betrayal was never clearly defining the mission objective 4 presidents have been there and not 1 has told us what our mission’s end point was.

Did three tours in Iraq and one in Afghanistan, saw first hand how the ORA / TRA reports were bullshite and we threw money at problems one year at a time so Battalion Command and up could have successful metrics.

Don't even get me started on contractors.

Betrayed? In 2007 I felt betrayed once I knew what the game was. Made the decision to stay in and do the best I could to help my Soldiers navigate the insane bureaucracy and make my corner of the Army a little better.

As shitty as watching all this goes down is, there is also a sense of validation because now the whole world gets to see what those of us on the ground knew all along.

Check the tapes, every GO that said we were turning the corner and making progress, every BN and BDE commander that hyped up their one year as an amazing success, and every politician that believed what they wanted to believe about the wars owns this.

Veterans???

What about active military who just saw America cut and run with no plan and leave thousands of soldiers and civilian personnel behind with no way out.

Veterans should feel betrayed. If I had a son who served in Afghanistan and came home maimed or burned, I would be really pissed.

No you’re wrong

Because to say never should have been there is stupid. Go read history and find out why we went there

Stay too long of course but going there was absolutely right call

I’m friends with some people who head a militia. I’m good to go.

I gave seven years of my life for the country.
Now I watch as we open to border to anyone who wants in.
Our biggest enemies are in our universities and Washington DC.
The folks coming across the border are more patriotic than our politicians.
