I think we're about done here. Even the MSM knows this isn't going anywhere with Mueller. The wiki reveal only makes it worse

LINK /
quote:

Special Counsel Robert Mueller has a problem

quote:

Ideally, he’ll recognize that and resign. But if he doesn’t resign, Attorney General Jeff Sessions should appoint another special counsel

quote:

As Bill Otis wrote in these pages last week, Mueller is too close to Comey to be impartial, and that violates Justice Department conflict of interest rules. As Otis noted, “Comey and Mueller have been friends for nearly 15 years.

And as Otis notes, the Justice Department’s rules forbid a person from participating in an investigation if doing so "may result in a personal ... conflict of interest, or the appearance thereof." Mueller clearly has one here.

Sessions is not going to appoint a 2nd SC, he and Trump are going to let Mueller hang himself. Probably by releasing the Comey tapes, which would show that Mueller favored Comeys word over any hard evidence, because they were friends.

Hmm, weird that USA Today, a MSM outlet published this.

I agree with them. I've been saying that POTUS should fire Mueller due to his connections to Comey & his Clinton-donor appointees to his Special Counsel team.

It reeks of partisanship.

So are you saying that Mueller should of vetted his appointees and made sure they didn't donate to Democrats?

How exactly does that work? Ask in the interview, "who did you donate to politically?" and tell them they can't get the job if they said anyone on the left?"

Does he then fire the people he appoints that he finds out donated to Democrats?

Why wouldn't people that donated to Republicans be a conflict as well?

Furthermore, should exercising your constitutional rights now disqualify you from public service?

This entire line of attack makes no sense. And that is before acknowledging that all the stuff I said is forbidden by a special counsel from asking in the hiring process. To establish this attack as being of consequence, we need some evidence that Mueller intentionally hired Democrat sympathizers with intent. There doesn't seem to be any evidence of that.

All from a guy that was appointed as a US Attorney by Reagan, Assistant Attorney General by George HW Bush, Deputy Attorney General by George W Bush, and then appointed FBI director by George W Bush by a vote of 98-0. Extended under Obama for several years as FBI director by 100-0 vote.

You don't know what there is evidence of. You're just like McGrath. You post opinion as fact and hope nobody calls you out on it.

Professor Reynolds regularly writes for USA Today. He's a staunch libertarian and runs my favorite website for news, Instapundit.

He calls out the bullshite on both sides of the isle.

No evidence???''

Well hell = we need to appoint a special counsel to investigate that then - if there is no evidence we need to redouble our efforts to find some.

Isn't that how this thing works??

no evidence of collusion with Russkies - so lets appoint a Special Counsel to find some!!!!

Don't fret, there are people from your side that do the same thing with opinion pieces.

It's a trap. They would love for Trump to fire Mueller so they can turn around and accuse him of something.

Wait a minute.

If USA Today is saying fire Mueller, there must be something else to this. There is not a smidgen of help to DJT from these people in the press. There's more democrat problem here that keep coming up with all the digging.

Remember, when they dig, we dig deeper.

Because we all know that the liberal media runs each and every opinion piece they receive. And especially if it runs counter to the narrative they have been making up for 6 months

However, when you post a response like this, it lets me know how out of options your side really is
