Anybody ever hear about the concept of "Adapting to Change"? Look it up. This whole notion of cutting some environmental deal with Mother Nature is paramount to what primitive African tribes would do - or Indians dancing for rain. Seems that nobody acknowledges that we're outmatched when it comes to finessing the old girl. She's gonna do what she's gonna do. It's always been that way. Always will. Similar to the Coastal Restoration movement. I admire their efforts, but to say it's David v. Goliath is an understatement. At some point, you just have to adapt. All out of guilt trips.

the libs are all about control and anti-God, so the whole nut of their argument is that we can somehow control it all, and don't dare hint that God is bigger than the cumulative of mankind, it truly gets them all flustered. They want to mock it, no different than the tower of babel story.

The eighty something year-old tree and thirty-two year-old tree that blew over in my yard two months ago let me know right quick who/what controls the weather.

For you climate control wannabes, please tell me how to prevent that from happening again. I have more trees. Thanks.

The sheer ego and arrogance it takes to think we can affect or control the climate is disturbing.

I have tried not to have an opinion on climate change because I don't trust ANY news sources or governmental agencies to tell me the truth on anything any more. Since I don't know enough about it, and don't feel I can find non-biased info on it in order to learn, I stay out of that debate.

Nevertheless, I recently went to the Grand Canyon for the first time. Over the last gazillion years or so, the TOP [not the bottom of the canyon], has experienced multiple ice ages, been covered by seas, deserts, glaciers, mountains, sand, water, etc... Over and over it has changed over the lifetime of the earth. So that point of earth at the GC has had repeated climate change for eons.

Man has only been around as we know it about 6000 years and only industrial to the point we are possibly having any effect on anything for the past 100 or so. Seeing this made me realize it is RIDICULOUS to believe we have had any effect on anything.

I don't think you understand, if you pay more in taxes and we shut down all the industry in America by shackling them with ridiculous rules while letting 3rd workers run dirty inefficient factories it will save the invisible bubble around the earth that holds the air in called the climate! Believe it, it's science!

Humans have been altering the environment for thousands of years. This idea that we don't or never did is ahistorical.
