Not a single person has ever said Trump is good at picking the people that surround him...
So now Weiss won't go before Congress and answer questions until after 2024 election. The Repubs, if they had any set of balls would refuse to fund the DOJ in the upcoming budget battle.

Weiss was recommended to Trump by Delaware's two Democrat senators.

Technically appointed by Trump but US political convention basically allows the Senators from that state to select the individual. So in reality while appointed by Trump he was selected by Coons and Carper.

I know he’s there to get to the truth! Certainly not a place holder to point at during an election to wash away any Hunter-taint. And most certainly not a leave behind if Biden loses in ‘24 to ensure all of the bad stuff stays hidden. No this is about the truth!

So they were setting this up the whole damn time. All the way back to the precise point of the appointment. Dern it!! The appointment of the guy simply followed “protocol and tradition” guiding the same exact processes for some time now, throughout the country.
