Thanks, I guess, for posting that piece...unfortunately it just confirms my dreary suspicions about our foreign policy in general and our MENA strategery in particular, as well as the people influencing it. Pretty fricking depressing.

Seems to me there were two big recent trends.
1) The Congress cutting back on pay and allowances for service people and end strength too, so everyone in the Military was poentially being run ragged, either deployed or about to deploy or just returned.
2) And Clinton and her Neo-con buddies salivating to ramp up more large scale but largely useless military operations.
And who was watching that from a golf cart and doing nothing? Obama.
Well, except for calling Clinton the best qualified candidate for president there ever was.
