Short positions are profitable when prices fall. Bond prices rose all during 2014. It's one of the reasons that Gross' returns all during 2014 fell behind his competition and why over a 16 month period $400 billion were withdrawn from PIMCO's funds by their clients.

And since you're obviously out of touch with financial news concerning Bill Gross, he repeated his short bond position mistake this year on the German bund market. He went short, rates in Germany fell, Gross' performance lags behind even his old funds at PIMCO this year. He won't learn. Just like you.

The record speaks for itself. You predicted a default that didn't happen. You predicted (actually you claimed it ALMOST DID happened) a "near bankruptcy" that didn't even come close to happening. Lots of predictions and noise...not so much on the facts.

Let's be very clear: nobody disputes that Gross is insane. Nobody disputes that some of his latter bets were misplaced. Nobody disputes that those factors caused upheaval at Pimco. Nobody disputes that those factors caused outflows at Pimco.

What NOBODY believes (you don't either, you're just such a sociopath that you refuse to admit when you overstepped in your claims) is that Pimco came to the precipice of bankruptcy. Literally nobody believes that. Not me. Not you. Not insiders at Pimco. Not the board of Allianz. Literally nobody.
