Here on a 1-year visa. Have to wonder why they were given a 1-year visa for a competition that lasts under a month. Let's hope they don't have any nefarious ideas.

'On Wednesday, police tweeted out photos and information about the teens. There are four males and two females ranging in age from 16 to 18. According a D.C. police report, the students were here on a one-year visa.'

UPDATE from Fox:

So much for the 'nothing to see here' theory.

Presumably! How exactly do 6 people 'go missing?'

Have they overextended their stay? If not I'm not sure why this is news. Get back to us when visas actually expire

They discovered American hookers and blow. They'll show back up after the bender ends.

What's your point?

It only takes one, as we have seen over and over and over again.

Wouldn't be surprising if they try to stay here illegally.

I know I would.

They can stay if they are part of the 65% of Burundis that are Catholic.

Unless your concept of nefarious ideas is working in a convenience store or driving for Uber, I think you're pretty safe.
