Hillary was defeated soundly and to say otherwise is a outright lie. Liberals and lies go hand in hand though because their whole outlook on life is a lie.

Militant Islam is a problem. And your false equivalence in regards to Judaism is a sophomoric response at best. It has not encircled the globe with a militant destruction of those that oppose it. And until militant group Islam demonstrates it can peacefully coexist with other expressions of faith it will be treated with suspicion. It is that simple.

Aren't you one of the "you're all racists" snowflakes?

Full Disclosure: I already know the answer to that question but I want to give you a chance to honestly admit to it.

You're changing the subject...

militant group Islam

This is what I was responding to in the OP:

I now believe the single biggest issue in the entire world is Islam.

And now you've changed it to "militant group Islam".

My bad. I apologize I didn't realize you didn't support HRC.
quote:

I just don't think people realize how unsurprising it would be to have a Bernie-esque candidate win. I still maintain that if Bernie had looked like Marco, he probably would have won. Lots of Bernie voters ultimately voted for Trump.

HRC and the dems had it rigged for her to win the dem primary. Did you miss the wikiLeaks emails?

I actually think the #2 issue is wealth inequality. I still find it amusing that a bunch of under-employed, rust belt baws so happily voted for a wealthy New Yorker with a long history of liberalism. This is a circle that doesn't really square and a "coalition" that will be short-lived.

Under-employed rust belt baws knew that with Bern it was socialism on steroids and it simply doesn't work. They are tired of both political parties and wanted real change. The dems backing of NAFTA and TPP sunk it for them. HRC tried to lie and take it all back but the voters she needed did not believe her.

She got 2.8 million more votes.

I'm not sure that qualifies as being "defeated soundly."

And IMO the division is so great I think Ca. and NY and the slew of little prog states--should break away and elect HRC or whoever. They cannot get bailed out ever by us; or call upon our military from their unicorn fairy land.

There were 4 million of us in California that voted for Trump. .... and we have no plan to secede.

In fact, the margin of Hilary's victory would have been smaller if a lot of republicans who did not vote because their vote "did not matter" would have casted a ballot for Trump.

Romney won Orange County 4 years ago and I see no reason why Trump won't win it next time.

I predict in four years, although the democrat will probably still win California, the margin will be much less because all the Republicans will vote to make sure Trump ALSO wins the national popular vote to shut up the leftists.

Who needed WikiLeaks to tell them that the Democrats were rigging the Democratic Convention to nominate a Democrat over an outsider?

I think this is a tough one to define. The most hardcore of the hardcore Islamic terrorists aren't doing this:

quote:

encircled the globe with a militant destruction

actually quite the opposite, they are focusing on very specific geographic locations with the goal of far reaching political change. ie 911.

Most of the globe encircling has been the western powers, lead by the US. I see this as just as much a problem as Islamic terrorism, because it gets us into messes that can't be cleaned up with bombs or by saying nice things (which is what liberals think will work).

I think our battle is not at all with Islam, but instead with unpredictable, non state political actors who are trying to form the beginning of a large scale war of movement against the western powers through acts of terrorism. It's these people, not their religion, that is the issue. When we don't admit that we get sidetracked from focusing on the very real issues that spawn support for these violent groups in the first place. We give them legitimacy when we focus on the idea of religion (which is impossible to pin down, and thus a useful tool for both sides) and not the actions of the criminal actors themselves. I think it's just too easy to say "well the problem is Islam" or that it is some particular brand of Islam. The problem is the actors, not the ideas. We have actors doing similar things from all backgrounds, races, religions, and economic circumstances, but it's rarely discussed how similar groups like the FARC are to ME terrorist or insurgency groups actually are. Why is that? A combination of reasons, one of them certainly being their affinity for using the predominant religion of the area as a unifying tool. Marxists use the same tool, and Christians have used it for evil before as well.

quote:

And until militant group Islam demonstrates it can peacefully coexist with other expressions of faith it will be treated with suspicion. It is that simple.

We will forever be dealing with these people in some capacity. Terrorism and extremist (violent) ideologies are one of the few tools available for disrupting states that are as powerful as ours in the West. It's just the nature of the beast unfortunately. I think it's a bad idea to import a bunch of poor and most likely stupid people into the US while simultaneously bombing the ever lovin shite out of the places from which they just left.

Anyhoo, just my opinion. Did you guys have a good Christmas?

As true as that is, you won't win many minds over on this board with that kind of talk.

Did you guys have a good Christmas?

The highlight of my Christmas was when I stopped by a Muslim run convenience store in New Orleans to buy some ice for my trip home. I intentionally picked the Muslim run store being fairly certain they wouldn't be observing Christmas, and would be open.

After I paid for the ice, the next person in line, who happened to be a big fat bald black man with a thick black beard, stepped up to the counter and in a loud voice proclaimed to the proprietors, "Merry Christmas, bitches!"

It made me laugh out loud, and when I turned around to look at him, he gave me a wink and a laugh.

Santa Claus truly is a black man.

The Electoral College vote numbers are the ones that count and it wasn't even close.
