It's likely a single felony account because he's flipped. Wise up.

Flipped to what?

All press reports up until today, said he only had access to low level Trump staffers? He lied about HIS contacts with Russia, not the campaigns contacts with Russia

If all they wanted was the Podestas, Manafort would have easily rolled

I disagree. Manafort and Gates brought The Podesta Group into this and just last week it was announced the Mueller was investigating Tony Podesta and The Podesta Group.

You don't open that up if you're going for Trump.

In the cooperation agmt released this morning GP mentions he tried planning a trip to Moscow for meetings and was in touch with "Senior Campaign Official" about the potential trip.

uh, read the news article I linked. Manafort shut him down. That's why the trip didn't happen. And Manafort specifically instructed that the communication was to be delivered by a low level staffer

So this guy now has insulated Trump from the entire investigation by pleading guilty, after having been ostracized from the top staffers before even Manafort left

And any defense attorney worth his salt, can place doubt on this guys testimony. Was he lying to Trumps staff, before he lied to the FBI? What can you believe? Hes a convicted liar at this point?

The point isn't that the meeting happened or didn't. It's that the top tier of campaign staff was aware of a staffer trying to establish connections to Russia. This is a crucial step in establishing liability. My guess is future docs will show that GP didn't stop at this failed meeting (and perhaps even continued at the direction of Manafort).

Your whole premise kinda goes to shite when Manafort meets with Russians himself

I had to add this little nugget to the OP

This clown was shopping a book deal, just 3 weeks ago. Yeah, hes gonna be a realiable witness

According to a screen shot of Papadopoulos’s Facebook page tweeted by Guardian UK reporter Jon Swaine, the former aide sought book publisher recommendations three weeks ago.

“Interested in meeting with a prominent publisher. Recommendations welcome, ” wrote Papadopoulos.
