Well if you read the article... Apparently it took him 2hrs to arrive due to a dispatcher fricking up, which has already been resolved.

So dispatcher delays him arriving and she is disciplined and it is immediately corrected, he performs a criminal act (yes I am calling murdering someones dog a criminal act) and he gets a paid vacation and prob a desk job for a few weeks.

I just can't understand why they shot that cow.

Why have we trained our police officers that the FIRST thing to do in any situation is to start shooting?!?!

I think part of it has to be that these guys really do have low IQs. Have they intentionally pre-screened out the normal IQs and hired only morons so they know they'll follow orders mow the public down in any protest situation?

That article is telling. Police departments refusing to interview smart people. So we pretty much have idiots we give uniforms, guns, and power to do what they want. Sweet!

The cow incident was in Canada. Apparently the cow escaped on its way to slaughter and the owner gave permission to kill it.

Is this part of Cop training now or something? See dog, do not assess situation, simply pull out side arm and shoot dog.

I'm beginning the think that the police handbook was written by a cat.

Yeah and here is their cowardly reason

quote:

According to the Rains County Sheriff's Office, Deputy Jerrod Dooley was fired on Thursday. Sheriff David Traylor said that it was for the Dooley's safety because of threats. He added that it is the safest move for the department and the deputy.

translation: he's going to lay low for a while and in a few months we'll recommend him to another department a few cities over.

Good.

I'd be willing to guess that a potential lawsuit had more to do with the real reason he was fired rather than for him being the actual scumbag POS that he is.

Doesn't look like they're planning to compensate the owner in any way either.

I can't imagine what that ball-headed prick would do in a real life-threatening situation. Probably shoot everyone in sight.

*bump*

Charges were dismissed and he surrendered his law enforcement license.

Oh, and he apparently got clocked outside the court.
