There is already a cry (with plenty of support) for Michelle Obama to run in 2020. It is not yet a groundswell, but it will get their quickly.

The only downside to her being the perfect candidate is the "political dynasty" issue. She would clearly win, as she would have exactly the same votes that President Obama would have had if he had been able to run against Trump.

These are facts.

The very threat of that being a possibility will bring ALL independents and fence-sitters to the right so fast it will make your head spin.

She would never ever win.

Hillary was riding Bill's Presidency that people mostly liked.

Michelle would be riding the coattails of total rejection.

Michelle may be more smug and unlikable than her husband, if that's possible.

No.
Her husband said her greatest accomplishment during her 8 years at the WH was being a good hostess.

President Obama was likeable and he could have readily beaten Donald Trump.

She doesn't have Hillary Clinton's honesty issues.

She would be the Republican's worst nightmare.

Fact.

She's not running. She would have been far more involved in something besides a school lunch program as First Lady if she had any aspiration to be President. Comparing her and Hillary as First Ladies is no contest on Hillary wanting to run for President.

That is a good point, and I would think she wouldn't want to run BUT I understand the meme came from a Malia Obama page. She might run if drafted.

She might be the only major party nominee in modern history even more unqualified than her husband.

Other than being married to a former president, what qualifications does she have?
